Baghdad (AIN) -MP Mohammed al-Lakash of the Citizen Bloc, called on Friday the parliament to “hold an urgent session to host the Commanding General of the Iraqi Armed Forces, the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.”
Lakash said in a statement received by All Iraq News Agency last night that "The parliament should hold a special session to host the Commanding general of the ISF, PM Nouri al-Maliki, to clarify the recent deterioration in the security situation."
The capital, Baghdad and some other provinces witnessed during the past two days several car bomb explosions and explosions of Improvised Explosive Devices that resulted in killing and wounding dozens of civilians. /End/
